Remove Acne Scars – With Modern Methods Of Treatment And Contractubex®

Many people suffer from acne during their youth. In most cases, this disappears over time and, with appropriate treatment, does not leave any traces behind. In some cases, e.g. with especially pronounced acne, disturbing scars can however remain. Many of those affected want to have the acne scars removed for the long term.
Removal of acne scars with “Skin Resurfacing”

Skin Resurfacing is – simply stated – skin renewal by removing the upper layer of the skin. This removal, also called abrasion, can be performed through various procedures.

Dermabrasion is a procedure that has been known for centuries. In this case, the topmost layers of skin are carefully removed by a rotating, e.g. diamond tipped grinding head.

Peeling treatments also have a long tradition. By using chemical peelings, which primarily consist of fruit acids, the individual top layers of skin can be scraped away and the depth of the scraping regulated.

In recent decades, special lasers have been developed to treat irregularities of the skin’s surface. This procedure is especially gentle as the upper layers of skin are specifically removed through laser beams.

The aim of the treatment is the same for all procedures: By removing the top layer of skin, scars and uneven skin are ablated. The slight damage to the skin activates the renewal of the surface layers of the skin. Furthermore, the new formation of collagen is induced, so that the skin appears firmer, smoother and younger overall.

Which procedure is the right one for me?

Unfortunately, an all-encompassing statement cannot be made here. In any case, you should ask your physician for thorough advice. He/she will make a recommendation about the suitable procedure based on the condition of your skin and your personal circumstances.

Old scars successfully removed? Prevent new scars forming!

The current procedures of Skin Resurfacing are primarily very gentle and naturally designed to avoid the possible formation of new scars. Nevertheless, you should take some points into consideration after the treatment so as to have lasting pleasure from the result of the treatment.

1. After-treatment with Contractubex®

The facial skin needs time to heal. With its combination of active ingredients, Contractubex® supports the natural healing process, prevents redness and discolouration, thereby ensuring that no traces of the treatment are left behind.

2. Do not forget sun protection

After the intervention, the skin reacts especially sensitively to sunrays. To prevent pigment marks, you should also use a high factor sun protection (at least Factor 30) for 3 to 6 months when you are outdoors.

Ask your physician when you may start with the treatment. For best possible results, you should apply Contractubex® 2 to 3 times daily to the affected areas. In this way, you can ensure that your acne scars are a thing of the past.
