Contractubex® Overnight Intensive Patch

The two-layer composition of the Contractubex® Overnight Intensive Patch offers a dual mode of action that results in regulating the scarring process by preventing the formation of excessive scars, while improving the smoothness, colour and softness of the newly formed tissue.

THE FIRST SCAR PATCH WITH DUAL MODE OF ACTION:

1. OCCLUSION

The soft MICRO-AIR-CUSHION SEAL is specially designed to

reduce the transepidermal water loss of the scar tissue
maintain a balanced, moisture-retaining atmosphere inside the affected skin area
protect the sensitive scar tissue

2. RELEASE OF ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

In the ACTIVE-RELEASE-MATRIX in the adhesive layer

the well-known Contractubex® substances CEPALIN and ALLANTOIN are embedded
substances are gradually released over several hours

REGULATES the scar formation process thus preventing excessive scarring
REDUCES redness, itching and tension
IMPROVES the smoothness, colour and softness of the newly formed tissue

APPLICATION

REGULATES THE SCAR FORMATION PROCESS

For best results – a barely visible, inconspicuous scar – treatment should be started as soon as the wound is closed for at least 3 months.

FOR LARGER AND SMALLER POST-SURGICAL SCARS

For a smaller scar, the flexible patch may be cut to size using clean scissors. Cut before peeling off the transparent backing.

EASY TO USE OVERNIGHT

Keep the patch in place for a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 hours overnight, when the regeneration process of the skin is particularly active.

EXTREMELY SOFT AND THIN

The self-adhesive patch is soft, thin and hypoallergenic and protects the sensitive scar area.
